Kingsford Federation Gems

  • Kingsford does not spring to mind when considering Federation Architecture, but here are some fine examples I found recently.
What a perfect gem, beautiful!

Beige, and my first Sydney example of timber and corrugated iron roof
Not only softly beige, very attractive window treatment, and my first Sydney example of timber and corrugated iron roof

Another new terracotta roof, and so no chimney either
Umm.... stolid, not helped by another new terracotta roof, and so no chimney either

Queen Anne style in Kingsford!

A better view of the Queen Anne semis. Aren't they just exquisite?

An exquisite example, even has a Sunrise gable! I love the two tone roof tiles.

  1. Hi, while you're in the area check out Daceyville, much of it was built as Arts & Crafts and there are still lots of nice details left in the buildings. It's particularly nice in the evenings as the sun sets, it brings out the warm colours in the houses.
